Before You Book

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

This agreement applies to all adult visitors, including Independent Travelers and Group Retreat participants.

By signing, I confirm I have read and agree to the following:

  1. My Responsibility — I take full responsibility for myself and any minors in my care during my visit, including all activities and the surrounding environment.
  2. No Liability — I will not hold Ocean Forest Ecolodge, its staff, guides, or facilitators responsible for any injury, loss, or damages during my stay.
  3. Late Arrival — If I arrive late, no refund or credit will be given for missed time.
  4. Early Departure — If I leave early for any reason, no refund or credit will be provided. I cover any costs from my early departure.
  5. Third Parties — I will not hold Ocean Forest responsible for issues caused by airlines, transport companies, or other outside providers.
  6. Property Damage — I agree to pay for any damage I or minors in my care cause to Ecolodge property.
  7. Insurance — I understand travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended. If I choose not to get it, I release Ocean Forest from any related claims.
  8. General Waiver — I waive claims related to illness, injury, theft, loss, or death caused by conditions outside Ocean Forest's control.
  9. Governing Law — This agreement is governed by the laws of Costa Rica.

By registering for a visit at Ocean Forest Ecolodge Retreat, I agree to all terms and conditions as listed above.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Independent travelers
  • Book direct: free cancellation up to 30 days before your arrival date.
  • Within 30 days of arrival: 50% of the booking is charged.
  • If you cannot travel for reasons of health or force majeure, you can reschedule your visit within one year at currently listed rates.
  • Bookings made through online travel agencies or agents follow the conditions of each platform.
